I began working with the body as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2000. Soon I saw the need for a more comprehensive approach to body work and my interests turned to Structural Integration. In order to start my practice I attended the Kinesis School of Structural Integration in Helena, Montana. The school's method of instruction was founded by Tom Myers who was trained by Ida Rolf, the pioneer of the practice of using soft tissue manipulation to restructure the body. In the past few years my passion for body work and holistic health has led me to further studies at the Southern College of Naturopathy and various other seminars involving natural healing and alternative care of the human body.
My accomplishments as a USPTA teaching tennis pro for twenty-three years and a triathlete for fifteen years gives me the ability to relate to athletes and their chosen sports. In 2000 I was named to the Rhodes College Athletic Hall of Fame and named Female "Athlete of the Millennium" by the Commercial Appeal. Whether swimming, running, biking, tennis, yoga or pilates, I can isolate lost movement and restore awareness to individuals of all levels.
